Autopilot

What Autopilot does

Autopilot takes leads from your scan results and DMs them for you. The message is written using your product description and whatever the person posted, then sent through the Chrome extension.

There's no review step. It just runs while you have LeadsRover open in a tab.

What you need

  1. Chrome extension installed and signed into Reddit in your browser.
  2. A product configured so the AI knows what to write about.
  3. LeadsRover open in a tab because the extension uses your browser's Reddit session. Close the tab and it stops sending.

How the pipeline works

Every few minutes, the extension checks for new DMs to send:

  1. It looks at your scan results and picks leads above the quality threshold.
  2. The AI writes a DM based on your product and the lead's post.
  3. The extension sends it from your Reddit account.
  4. The lead gets marked as contacted so it won't be DM'd again.

If something goes wrong (Reddit is down, the session expired), the DM is marked as failed and you'll see it in the activity log.

Settings

Each product has its own Autopilot settings:

  • Max DMs per day caps how many go out per product each day.
  • Time between DMs is the minimum wait between sends. Some random jitter gets added on top so it doesn't look robotic.

No double-messaging

Before every send, it checks whether someone already contacted that lead, whether it was Autopilot, a manual DM you sent, or an existing conversation. Nobody gets DM'd twice.

Replies

When someone replies to an Autopilot DM, the conversation shows up in your Inbox. You can continue the conversation from there without switching to Reddit.

Privacy

We never see or store your Reddit credentials. The Chrome extension sends DMs through your browser's existing session, and nothing leaves your machine.

If it's not working

No DMs going out?

Check that the extension is installed, you're logged into Reddit, and LeadsRover is open in a tab. The Autopilot page shows the extension status.

"Token expired" warning?

Visit reddit.com/chat in your browser to refresh your session, then come back.

Daily limit reached?

Autopilot stops for the day once it hits the cap you set. It resets at midnight.
